We are incredibly grateful to the local schools and our dedicated employees for their overwhelming support of the BCMH Cares Mammogram Fund throughout October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Thanks to the collective efforts of the Miami Eagles, Butler Bears, and our staff, a total of $3,008 has been raised to help provide mammograms to women who are uninsured or underinsured in our community.

Miami Eagles’ Generosity

The Miami Eagles have gone above and beyond to support the BCMH Cares Mammogram Fund, raising $831 through their month-long fundraising activities. This included their Pink Games, bake sales, and raffles — all of which brought the school community together for a cause that’s so close to home. Students, coaches, teachers, and families all played a key role in making this contribution possible, and we couldn’t be more thankful for their dedication and hard work.

Butler Bears Make a Difference

The Butler Bears also joined in the efforts, raising $605 for the fund through their own fundraising initiatives. The school’s support, including various activities and events, reflects the powerful spirit of giving in our local communities. We are truly grateful to the students, staff, and families in Butler for their commitment to improving the health and well-being of women in our area.

BCMH Employees Show Their Support

In addition to the generosity of the Miami Eagles and Butler Bears, our own employees at Bates County Memorial Hospital have been actively contributing to the cause. Together, our staff raised $1,572 through internal fundraising efforts, further amplifying the positive impact of this initiative. We are incredibly proud of the compassion and enthusiasm our employees have shown in supporting this important cause.

A Total of $3,008 Raised

Thanks to the combined efforts of the Miami Eagles, Butler Bears, and our staff, a total of $3,008 has been raised to benefit the BCMH Cares Mammogram Fund. These funds will go directly to help women in our community who need access to mammograms but may not have the financial means to afford them.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all who have participated in this meaningful initiative. Together, we’re making a real difference in the lives of women in Bates County and beyond.

Thank you again to the Miami Eagles, Butler Bears, and all of our employees for your generosity and dedication to this important cause.
