Our cardiologist, Dr. Jeffrey Bissing, DO, is available four days a week to help diagnose and treat a range of heart-related conditions. Working alongside your primary care provider, Dr. Bissing offers compassionate care and advanced testing—right here in Bates County.
We offer a range of heart-related services:

EKGs (Electrocardiograms): A simple test that checks your heart’s rhythm and electrical activity.

Echocardiograms: An ultrasound that shows how well your heart and valves are working.

Nuclear Medicine Stress Tests: A special imaging test that shows how blood flows to your heart, both at rest and during activity.

Treadmill Stress Tests: A monitored exercise test that checks how your heart responds to physical activity.

Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE): A closer look at your heart using a special ultrasound taken from your esophagus, done in our surgery department.

Cardioversion: A safe procedure that uses low-energy shocks to restore a normal heartbeat.

Loop Monitors (implanted in office): A small device placed under the skin to track irregular heart rhythms over time.

Event Monitors and Holter Monitors (placed in office): Wearable monitors that record your heart’s activity over 24 hours or longer.

Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring: A cuff you wear for 24 hours to measure your blood pressure during daily activities.

Pacemaker and ICD Monitoring: We provide remote and in-office monitoring to keep your implanted heart devices working properly.
