BCMH Hosts Continuing Education Event with Visiting Ophthalmologist Dr. Cooper Rodgers

BCMH recently welcomed optometrists from across the region as well as BCMH providers for a continuing education program presented by Dr. Cooper Rodgers, our visiting ophthalmologist who provides cataract and other surgical services at our hospital. The CME dinner, held on November 13, was sponsored by BCMH and co-hosted by Drs. David and Susie Miller, both O.D.s, who practice in our community.
Following the presentation, attendees toured the BCMH surgery department with Kristie McKee, RN and Surgery Manager. The tour included an inside look at our pre-op and recovery areas and one of our operating suites, where Dr. Rodgers performs cataract procedures for local patients.
Dr. Rodgers is at BCMH one day each month for surgery, helping patients access high-quality ophthalmology care close to home.
