Respiratory Care
The BCMH Respiratory Department offers a wide variety of services to help you breathe easier.
Respiratory therapy is a common treatment for COPD and other ailments that diminish lung capacity. We offer diagnostic testing, oxygen therapy, breathing treatments and ventilator life support. Most services are offered to all ages.
BCMH respiratory therapists are professionally licensed by the state of Missouri and are nationally credentialed.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Specialists
A pulmonologist has expertise in the evaluation of patients with breathlessness, cough, wheezing, and chest tightness, as well as abnormalities of the chest x-ray, chest CT scan and other chest imaging studies. Pulmonary specialty clinics are held on Tuesdays in the BCMH Outpatient Specialty Clinics with pulmonologists Timothy Smith, MD, FCCP.
