BCMH Food Drive Supports Local Efforts to Strengthen Food Security

The BCMH food drive wrapped up this week, led by BCMH Family Care Clinics provider Dr. Miller and general surgeon Dr. Joyce. With support from staff, patients, and community members, the effort brought in a generous collection of non-perishable items for local organizations working to address food insecurity, including the Carpenter’s Cup and the Community Food Pantry.
The items pictured represent a little more than half of the total food donations gathered. This year’s drive also saw strong participation across departments, reflecting a shared commitment to supporting neighbors who may be facing difficult circumstances.
A special thank-you goes to Carol Stroud of the Surgical Clinic and Tricia Cook and Crystal Dizney of the Family Care Clinics for their behind-the-scenes coordination and enthusiasm. Their efforts helped make this drive a success.
We’re grateful to everyone who took part in this year’s collection. Acts of generosity like these make a real difference during the holiday season and throughout the year, and we’re proud to see our team and community come together in support of local families.
