BCCHF Fundraising Projects

Bates County Community Health Foundation hosts several fundraising events every year. Proceeds help fund healthcare scholarships for Bates County students who are pursuing a career in health care, and for other projects as donors wish to designate their gifts. Please join us in one of our upcoming events and help make our community a healthier place to live!

Memory Tree Ornaments

Honor the memory of your loved ones and support the Foundation’s efforts with your purchase of 2024 Memory Tree Christmas Ornaments. Your ornaments will be placed on the Memory Tree displayed in the hospital during the holiday season. You may choose to pick up your ornaments after the New Year, or as soon as they are ready.

Order the 2024 Memory Tree Ornament online using Google Forms, or pick up an order form from the information desk at the hospital.

Ornaments are one for $15 or two for $25. Place your order before by December 13, 2024 to take part in this annual fundraiser!

Proceeds from BCCHF Memory Tree Ornaments help provide healthcare scholarships to students in our area.

Golf Tournament

Please join us for the Bates County Community Health Foundation’s 20th Annual 2-Person/27-Hole Golf Tournament  on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at the Butler Country Club.

Check-In: 7:30 am Shot-gun start: 8:00 am.

Prizes and Awards

$10,000 Hole-in-One contest, Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, Raffle and Skins.

• First place – $250
• Second place – $200
• Third place – $150

Entry Fee: $75 per person, with lunch. Rental carts are available for $30 per cart. Contestants must have a cart.

Location: Butler Country Club, 800 S. Country Club Dr., Butler, Missouri

This year, BCCHF will donate proceeds from the Golf Tournament to benefit the Infusion Center Renovation at Bates County Memorial Hospital. The Infusion Center, projected to be completed this summer. Learn more about this project and how it will help our community.

Wheels in the Grass Car Show and Swap Meet

This rain-or-shine annual fundraiser is set for Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and will be held in the hospital’s west parking lot. Registration is 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and entry fees are by donation.

Swap meet participants, please pre-register by Sept. 1, 2024 by email to sbjerke@bcmhospital.com.

Awards: Best of Show – Race Car – Rat Rod – Motorcycle – Special Interest – Cars/Trucks 1901 – 1940; 1941-1960, 1961-1980, 1981 – Present.
