Infusion Center Open House July 21, 2024

Bates County Memorial Hospital to Host Open House for Infusion Center on July 21

A brass bell will be installed in the Infusion Center to recognize a $10,000 donation from Bates County Community Health Foundation for patients to mark the end of their cancer treatments. BCMH team members dedicated many hours to the Infusion Center Renovation project, including (from left) Rob Clover, Director of Plant Operations; Greg Weaver, CEO; Ann Donnohue, RN, Outpatient Specialty Clinics Manager and Jennifer Klinksick, RN, CNO.

Bates County Memorial Hospital will host an Infusion Center Open House on Sunday, July 21.  Visitors are welcome to tour the Infusion Center between 2:00 and 4:00 pm to see firsthand the newly renovated area dedicated to patients who need chemotherapy and other infusion treatments. BCMH Oncology nurses will be your guide to answer questions and demonstrate how this new space will be beneficial for cancer patients. We look forward to introducing our community to the serene interior of the Infusion Center designed with patient comfort and safety in mind.

BCMH is also excited to share with visitors our plans for a Donor Wall within the Infusion Center to recognize those who supported this effort with financial gifts. If you are interested in making a charitable donation to the Infusion Center through Bates County Community Health Foundation, please contact Shannon Bjerke, 660-200-7072.
