Tobacco Free Campus
To meet the requirements for hospital licensure by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, as set forth in Chapter 197, RSMo, 19 CSR 30-20.011, 021, and 19 CSR 20-20.080, the use of tobacco products (including e-cigarettes and vapor products) on all hospital-operated facilities is strictly prohibited. Missouri Law requires us to maintain a tobacco free facility.
Tobacco use of any kind will not be permitted:
- Within the hospital or within any hospital-owned Family Care Clinics
- On the grounds of the hospital and hospital-owned Family Care Clinics
Patients/visitors who smoke or use other tobacco products are asked to comply with these regulations. We thank you for supporting our effort to remain Tobacco-Free.
Patients who smoke or use other tobacco products may request your healthcare provider to prescribe a smoking cessation aid while at the hospital.
The American Cancer Society offers smoking cessation support and education to anyone who desires to quit using tobacco products. Access their web site at www.cancer.org.
