Lori King brings over 30 years of nursing experience to her role as a family nurse practitioner at Rich Hill Family Care Clinic. She began her nursing career after earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pittsburg State University in 1992, serving for eight years in the United States Navy with a focus on adult, pediatric, and labor/delivery care.
Lori has been part of Bates County Memorial Hospital since 1997, with nearly three decades of experience in the med/surg and emergency departments before pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages, with a special interest in women’s health, preventive care, and managing chronic and acute conditions.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Lori has served as an instructor in trauma, cardiac, and pediatric life support courses. She is passionate about patient education and empowering individuals to take an active role in their health.
Lori is the mother of five sons and a proud grandmother. She and her husband, Rick, enjoy spending time with their family and staying involved in the community.
