Interventional Radiology (IR) is a medical specialty utilizing minimally invasive procedures using medical imaging such as fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT or MRI. These procedures are performed by interventional radiologists, who are board certified and fellowship trained to specialize in IR procedures.

BCMH performs many types interventional procedures including biopsies and kyphoplasty (which stabilizes compression fractures), arthrography (joint structure and function) and myelography (detection of disorders of the spinal cord).
