Low-Cost Labs & Imaging
Lab testing: 5 tests for $20
The $20 panel includes:
- A1C
- Cholesterol
- Vitamin D
- TSH
- Glucose
Additional Testing:
- New this year: Add testosterone for $10.
- Men over 50 may add PSA for $2.50.

Carotid Artery Ultrasound: $60
Tests will be performed the day of the health fair, and we will mail your results a few days later to your home address. Pay by cash or credit card – no insurance filed.
Free Health Screenings
Free screenings will be available throughout the Health Fair, including:
- Blood Pressure
Check your blood pressure and learn more about healthy blood pressure levels. - Oxygen Level (SpO₂)
A quick screening to measure the oxygen level in your blood. - Carpal Tunnel Screening
Screening provided by an occupational therapist.

Free Vision Screening & Eyeglasses with Missouri Lions Eye Mission Foundation & Butler Lions Club
Dr. David Miller, along with the Missouri Lions Eye Mission Foundation and Butler Lions Club, will provide free vision screenings and free eyeglasses.
The team will use a Spot Vision Screener along with additional screening equipment to evaluate vision needs and help match attendees with available recycled prescription eyeglasses when possible.
Additional screening equipment will include:
- Titmus machine: measures visual acuity, peripheral vision and color blindness
- Tonometer: measures eye pressure as part of glaucoma screening
They will also have prescription eyeglasses, reading glasses and sunglasses available at no cost to the public.

Learn More About Screening Labs Offered at the Health Fair
A1c: Also known as Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c). When you check your blood sugar (glucose), it’s a snapshot of a single point in time. Your blood sugar constantly changes. The A1C test measures your average blood sugar levels over the past 3 months. This test is helpful in diagnosing and monitoring diabetes and prediabetes. You do not need to fast.
Glucose: A random blood sugar test is known as Glucose. This measures your blood sugar at the time you’re tested. You can take this test at any time and don’t need to fast random glucose. If you choose to fast, an 8-hour fast is recommended.
Cholesterol: This is the total amount of cholesterol in your blood. This test helps aide the doctor with how a person’s body processes the fats they eat. When ordered by your provider, they may or may not request that you fast for 8-12 hours. If a full Lipid Profile is ordered by your provider, then it includes total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and triglycerides.
Vitamin D: An important vitamin that the whole body needs to function properly. It is obtained from food and sunlight. People often don’t realize they are deficient in Vitamin D.
TSH: Also known as Thyroid Stimulating Hormone. This hormone stimulator is important for proper body function and energy. Thyroid dysfunction can lead to serious health problems but can often be restored when detected correctly.
Testosterone: A total testosterone test helps evaluate symptoms of abnormal testosterone levels, including low testosterone in men, high androgen levels in women, fertility concerns, early or delayed puberty, and response to testosterone-related therapy.
PSA: A blood test called a prostate specific antigen (PSA) test measures the level of PSA in the blood. PSA is a substance made by the prostate. The levels of PSA in the blood can be higher in men who have prostate cancer however the PSA level may also be elevated in other conditions that affect the prostate. Because many factors can affect PSA levels, your doctor is the best person to interpret your PSA test results. Usually only recommended for men over 50 years of age and those with a close family history of prostate cancer.
