Spreading Pink, Raising Funds, Feeling Grateful
This October, our dedicated employees are coming together to support a vital cause: the BCMH Cares Mammogram Fund, providing essential mammogram screening services for uninsured and underinsured patients. To raise funds and awareness, employees will participate in a series of exciting fundraising activities throughout the month.
Community members can join the effort by participating in the 50/50 Raffle, with tickets available for purchase at our Gift Shop. Tickets are priced at $5 each or five for $20, offering a chance to win while contributing to a life-saving initiative. In addition, raffles are on offer for two customized jean jackets by Christy Trapp and a beautiful blanket crafted by Vickie Kershner, both employees of the Health Information Management department. Visit the Gift Shop Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm to purchase tickets.
In addition, our staff will show their support through fun-themed activities, including:
- Pink & Jeans Days: Employees will wear jeans on designated days, contributing to the cause while promoting awareness and solidarity.
- Flamingo Flocking: Throughout October, staff members will have the opportunity to surprise each other with pink flamingos, a fun way to raise funds and encourage participation.
Early detection is key in the fight against breast cancer, and every contribution helps us make a difference in our community. We thank everyone for their support and for helping us spread awareness about this important cause.
