Stroke Wise: Avoid the Surprise
Join us on November 14 for our Stroke Wise class, a new educational opportunity from BCMH led by Whitli Thomas, DPT. As a Certified Stroke Specialist and Physical Therapist, Whitli aims to equip you with the knowledge to recognize and prevent the unexpected impact of a stroke.
In this first class, she will present “Not so F.A.S.T.: Uncommon Stroke Warning Signs,” helping you identify lesser-known symptoms of stroke. You may be familiar with the F.A.S.T. acronym—Facial drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulties, and Time to get help. In this class, Whitli will review additional symptoms that often catch patients by surprise.
This class is free and open to the public, with options to attend in person or online. Light lunch provided!
