Welcome Laura Noble, FNP – Our New Family Nurse Practitioner for Orthopedic Clinics
We are excited to announce a new addition to our Outpatient Specialty Clinics—Laura Noble, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). With almost nine years of experience in family practice, Laura is now joining our Orthopedic team, working alongside Dr. Blake, BCMH’s newest visiting orthopedic surgeon.
“We are excited to have Laura join the BCMH family,” said Greg Weaver, Chief Executive Officer. “Her commitment to patient care, combined with her strong local ties, will provide our community with even greater access to high-quality orthopedic care. Laura’s expertise will be invaluable as she works with Dr. Blake to serve the needs of our patients.”
Laura’s decision to transition into orthopedic care was inspired by her desire to specialize. After years of developing a deep passion for patient care, she recognized that she was ready for a new challenge. When the opportunity arose to work with Dr. Blake, Laura eagerly accepted, excited to learn from his wealth of experience in orthopedics.
“I’m looking forward to specializing,” Laura shared. “A patient recently told me that I ‘geek out’ on things, and I think they’re right. I’m ready to dive into this field, and I’m excited to see where this new journey takes me.”
Her training with Dr. Blake will begin in February, and by March, she will start seeing patients four days a week. Laura’s hands-on training, combined with Dr. Blake’s experience, will ensure that she provides top-notch care to our patients in the area.
Laura’s role in our orthopedic clinic brings additional support to the growing demand for specialized care close to home. Her presence ensures that patients have convenient access to high-quality orthopedic services, without the need to travel far. This is an exciting step toward meeting the increasing healthcare needs of our region.
“When I was in middle school and fractured both my radius and ulna, I had to travel to Springfield for treatment because there was no orthopedic specialist locally to provide this kind of care. I remember the long drives back and forth during my recovery, and oh, how nice it would have been to have that kind of care closer to home. That experience has made me truly appreciate the value of accessible, specialized care. Now, I’m excited to be part of a team that’s bringing orthopedic care—surgical care included—right here to our rural community.”
We are proud to have Laura on board and look forward to the exceptional care she will provide to our patients. Her blend of local roots, professional expertise, and commitment to patient-centered care makes her a great addition to our team.
