A Strong Tradition Continues: Meet Our Cardiopulmonary Rehab Team

Our Cardipulmonary Rehab team, from left: Patty Stienbarger, RRT, BS; Andrea Davis, RN and Heather Haddix, RN.
There’s a new chapter underway in the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department at Bates County Memorial Hospital — and it’s led by a team of familiar, trusted faces.
Following the retirement of Jacque Waite, our longtime department leader, Andrea Davis, RN, has been named Supervisor of Cardiopulmonary Rehab. Andrea has served in cardiac rehab since December 2016, bringing steady care and encouragement to every patient she meets.
She is joined by two more dedicated professionals:
- Patty Stienbarger, RRT, BS, our experienced Pulmonary Rehab Specialist
- Heather Haddix, RN, a former float nurse who recently joined cardiac rehab
This team works closely with patients recovering from heart or lung conditions, providing supervised exercise, education, and compassionate support throughout the rehabilitation journey.
Cardiac and pulmonary rehab services are essential steps toward recovery after a heart or pulmonary event, and our community is fortunate to have these services available so close to home.
We’re proud of the care this team delivers and the lives they help strengthen every day.
