Dr. Curtis W. Long and Gay Nissen Visit Infusion Center Named in Their Honor
We had the privilege of welcoming Dr. Curtis W. Long and his nurse, Gay Nissen, RN, for lunch and another tour of the infusion center that bears their names.
During the visit, Dr. Long reconnected with many colleagues he has worked with over the years, sharing memories and reflecting on decades of service to our community. Oncologist Jaswinder Singh, MD, also stepped away from his patient schedule to meet Dr. Long and personally thank him for the tremendous impact his contributions have made on cancer care at Bates County Memorial Hospital.
Before heading home, Dr. Long received his own sign for the Dr. Curtis W. Long and Gay L. Nissen, RN Infusion Center as a small token of our appreciation for all he has done.
We appreciate Dr. Long for his lasting legacy and his role in advancing cancer care right here in Bates County. We are grateful for all he has done for our patients and community!
